I wonder why NDR chose to call the country Großbritannien rather than Vereinigtes Königreich. Also... Bobby McVay and Bobby G. look and sound similar! For a moment I thought they were the same guy! The ESC 1983 is my favorite edition orchestra-wise!! Most entries were made sound great!!

The funny thing is, A-Ba-Ni-Bi, was tipped to be the last song in the ranking... but juries made their minds up otherwise in the end. Good old days for the UK in the contest. 😊

I quite happily sing along to this (well screech) all of the singer's vocals, high and low and pretend I'm thirteen again gasping in amazement at the tellyovision ! Bloody good song, good vocals and funky choreography. Only Corrine's superb performance ( I screech along full blast to that as well) and song could have won it though! Well done the United Kingdom !
